Although many of the towns in Montenegro may look alike at first glimpse, they actually differ in their traditions and customs based on the region they are located at.
Montenegro has three regions:
coastal, central, and mountain – each of them carries nuances rich in folk culture which can fill the curiosity of visitors interested in exploring the regions more thoroughly.
While the coastal towns are filled with remnants of ancient times, and the gentle whisper of the braking waves, the central region towns are rich in cultural and historical landmarks which when combined with the modern atmosphere, leads to the creation and development of tourism centers.
The mountain Montenegrin towns, with their unique architecture, small households and untouched forests are a main attraction for winter tourism.
